For this project, I was tasked with coming up with an original concept for a new app that could be launched to the public. and interpreting what the user experience and expectations would be for my app, and prototyping the expected user flow as they work through the process.
The process involved creating a persona of an expected user based upon survey results from others, and taking that information into sketches and then wireframes (see below). Through this project, I learned more about how a user’s mind works as they navigate through a designed UI, and the small nuances that impact how we can perceive different functions.
I chose to design a shop app for Computer Parts that matches with parts based on the user’s desired needs as far as game specifications go, simplifying the PC Building process with additional features such as Custom Builds, In-Store Building, and more. I recommend looking through the Figma Prototype to gain a clear picture of the project’s purpose.
